Visits and Events

321 Squadron cadets at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra

In addition to local squadron, and wing activities, 321 Squadron cadets have opportunities to participate in other activities related to defence and aviation. Each year, the squadron organizes visits to aviation museums and airshows, including the Australian International Air Show in Avalon (Victoria), the Temora Airshow, and Wings Over Illawarra. Cadets also have the opportunity to visit army and navy museums, to learn about the history of the other ADF services.

Cadets are also able to participate in social events, including squadron Dining-In evenings, and the annual 3 Wing Ball. These events often provide the cadets their first experience of formal occasions.

Sporting activities are also an important part of the 321 Squadron activity calendar. All cadets are encouraged to participate in these sporting occasions, and can go forward to represent the squadron, region, and wing.
